As we enter this season of gratitude, I just want to take a moment — from my heart, and from our family to yours — to say thank you.
This year has been one of growth, learning, and connection here at The Center for Advancement & Learning (The CAL). Whether you attended a class, shared a post, joined an open house, or simply cheered us on from afar, you’ve been part of something meaningful.
Every conversation, every event, every person who walks through our doors reminds me why we started this journey — to create a place where people could come together to learn, grow, and thrive.
As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, I’m especially thankful for this community — for the instructors who’ve said “yes” to teaching, the students stepping out of their comfort zones, and the local entrepreneurs who continue showing up despite the challenges.
I’ve had so many conversations with small business owners lately — people who love what they do but are carrying the weight of rising costs, empty spaces, or slowing sales. And every time, I think about how The CAL can help bridge that gap.
In 2026, we’ll be introducing The CAL Membership, designed especially for entrepreneurs and educators who need a supportive community, affordable access to professional space, and resources to grow without the high overhead.
It’s for those who might be on the verge of giving up — the ones holding on to big dreams but needing a smaller, more sustainable way to keep going.
Because that’s what The CAL is all about: giving people room to breathe, space to rebuild, and community to believe again.
From all of us at The Center for Advancement & Learning — and from my family to yours — thank you for believing in what we’re building.
Your support means more than words can say. Together, we’re not just creating a learning space — we’re shaping a community of resilience, purpose, and possibility.
May your season be filled with warmth, peace, and gratitude that carries into every area of your life and work.
With total appreciation,
Kiki Mattress & Family
